It seemed to be perfect! Is soft enough to be comfortable and firm enough to be a real bed!For a couch is perfect because is something that you don’t really use any day, for the use you make of it is perfect! The only reasons why I gave 4 star instead of 5, is because is 3,8 inch and on the description is 4! I guess they write 4 to give to round the figure, and be practical to understand, but I think they should be realistic rather in the descriptions, so one knows perfectly what they buy! Doesn’t metter form me, but for someone else probably it does!However if you need a good mettesse for a sofa, is really good!!!OK, I was a little nervous about buying a mattress on line but it worked out. First off the size. It's not a 4.5 inch mattress; it's just 4 if you measure from the very bottom. That being said it is quite comfortable. No chemical smell from the foam. I don't feel the bars on the pull out sofa and it behaves just like my memory foam in my bedroom with little movement should your partner move. With the whole Covid situation still going on, sleeping in separate quarters is still a thing to keep from getting sick, so I upgraded my office/guest room with this. I'm very glad that I did. For the pice you can't beat it. Now at least I won't worry so much when a guest does come to stay if the couch is really that comfortable. I know it is.My son comes to visit and I have one bedroom. He sleeps on the sofa bed. I wanted something that work for him. He said was a comfortable mattress and was pleased with it!My old hide-a-bed mattress was falling apart. It had a layer of metal springs which were very uncomfortable. This mattress is very comfortable and is quiet!Is not for comfort but it gets the job done . I’m a heavy guy so I can only sit or it on it for very little before I need to stand up . I wouldn’t sleep on it all nightWhat a difference this mattress made on our sleeper sofa! Can't even ferl the bar. However, it's not as thick as advertised.As a bigger girl you can definitely feel the bar of the pull out through the mattress but it is totally able to be slept on.This mattress is for a sleeper sofa. The furniture company I purchased the sofa from said they were not able to order a mattress replacement so I checked online and found exactly what I needed. The mattress is a good fit, a great value and is quite comfortable. I am very pleased with my Dynasty Mattress!
