Too slippery and unsafe. Doesn’t fold easy. Not very sturdy. Thin wood. Not stable. Would not buy again.Overall I really like this ramp a lot. I needed one for my English Bulldog puppy, who has weak hind legs, to help her get on our couch by herself. We don't have a lot of space around our couch so I wanted one that wasn't too long or wide, had a platform at the top, with an incline that wasn't too steep - not to mention one that looked nice would be good too. This one checks all of those boxes! The only draw back for my dog is that she's slow and hefty. I'm sure for most pets the carpet used provides more than enough traction for them to get up and down. Ella however slid down the ramp as soon as she got her back feet onto it. I was able to find a solution however, by putting non-slip tape strips on top of the carpet, and now Ella can go up and down the ramp at her own pace. Yay!I do not understand the carpet choice on this. It worked okay for a while, although it was too slippery from the start. Now that my dog has used it for a while, it has become even more slippery. She slides right down it and has fallen off a few times. She has a torn ACL, so it is too risky. I am going to have to see if I can now find different carpet and tear off the old stuff. Not thrilled with the idea of doing that. Otherwise, I really like that it is lightweightNeeded this for my fur baby. Wish I had one before he herniated a disc and needed emergency surgery! If you've got a dog with shorter legs and a longer torso you MUST get this NOW!!He took to it quickly. It sits in place well but to make sure it won't collapse when he's using it I tightened the bolts to lock it into place. If I need to store it all I need to do is loosen the bolts and lay it flat.It's a nice looking piece and fits well with my furniture. It's not too heavy so it's easy to handle. The ribbed carpet on the ramp helps a great deal.The ramp is not tall enough for an average bed or it makes it too steep for my dogs to climb. Also doesn’t stay elevated and is not sturdy. Would not recommend.The ramp fits perfectly. But I think someone else may have had it before me, as there was a knife left in the box. Lucky I saw it before I injured myself!We installed a doggy door and the outside height was to much for our Boston terrier to make it through. I set this up and it worked perfectly. Had to trim the back legs down a little with my jigsaw to get the height just right. Mon vieux chien l’utilise chaque jour. Par contre, le tapis est très glissant et il est plus difficile pour mon chien de monter et descendre surtout lorsque la rampe est plus haute.Ramp is lightweight and portable between floors. However, the carpet flooring isn’t really grippy for our dachshund puppy to safely go up and down. After only 1 month of use, it’s worse - the carpet flooring has worn down and our puppy now slips right down it, like a slide.Make sure you measure as its too short.
