I have been looking for a blanket for our bed for many years. I was so excited to find this luxurious blanket. It is made with acrylic and cotton so it breathes and doesn't make me sweat. I haven't had any static electricity problems with it either. It is soft and warm. For the past five years or so, I had only been able to find the micro fleece type blankets that were made in China. I don't like the micro fleece because they make me sweat, and the static electricity they generate can short-out electronics like laptop computers and cell phones. Also, this blanket is from Portugal, not China, another bonus in my book. I just washed it for the first time, and it washed up real nicely. I ordered the Cafe Bronze color and it is a rich brown color. I love it. I highly recommend this blanket. It looks luxurious on our bed, and I don't feel the need to cover it up with a bedspread everyday.
